New Work by Sam Baron

Sam Baron, the head of Fabrica’s design department, launches three new collections at Maison & Objet in Paris. For Portuguese company Vista Alegre, Baron has designed the Royal Actual collection of porcelain tableware. Baron makes good use of textural embellishment that curves, spirals and sprouts outward from the various pieces. For Secondome, Baron puts the emphasis on handles in two new collections of glassware, Utiles and [F]utiles (the handles here are impressively frivolous), and also has a new collection of ceramic vases, bowls and candleholders for Bosa.
